WWF: Zowel in Nederland als over zowat de hele wereld is de natuur in grote problemen.
NatureToday: "Onze Nederlandse natuur op land staat er slecht voor. Sinds 1990 zijn populaties wilde dieren in zowel open natuurgebieden zoals heide, als in het agrarisch landschap, gemiddeld gehalveerd. Deze zorgwekkende ontwikkeling blijkt uit het vandaag door het Wereld Natuur Fonds (WWF-NL) gepubliceerde Living Planet Report Nederland, getiteld ‘Natuur en Landbouw Verbonden’"
